Book Recommendations

I just finished reading "The Looking Glass Wars" by Frank Beddor. And I would highly recommend it. It's a new and interesting take on the story of Alice in Wonderland, and it's very original. The characters were interesting, the story was exciting, and the best evidence that I really liked it? I'm actually excited for the sequel instead of groaning that they stretched a story out longer that it needs to be. This story actually merits a trilogy to tell it. I'm excited to go find "Seeing Redd" next.

Sweet. I love to hear book recommendations, so I'll take you up on this one. Sounds like a fun story and hey, if you think it's good, it's got to be! (Charity has ultimately good taste in everything.)

Oooh--I'm so excited for a new book recommendation. I looked up the books you had listed on Facebook and Elantris sounds particularily interesting. Is that the author you were telling us about who is finishing the Wheel of Time series. Elantris is definitely one of the books I'm brining to the hospital with me. Do I need to re-read Through the Looking Glass before I read this book?

My hold on Looking Glass Wars came through and it is now officially in my "going to the hospital" bag. I am using all my self control to not Just Read the First Chapter. That never ends well for me. I have no self control once I get going.
